AL Family Killed in Police Chase Accident

An Alabama family was in the wrong place at the wrong time, becoming the innocent victims of a deadly police chase.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig reports:

Robbery suspects in an SUV being pursued by police ran a red light Monday night, slamming into a car and killing a man, woman and infant.

(Sgt. Callahan) “When it’s young kids involved and it’s senseless victims that are hurt as a result of people’s reckless actions, it really…it’s hard on us to work and investigate it.”

…Birmingham Police Sgt. John Callahan. �All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The two suspects fled on foot into nearby woods, leaving behind a gun that cops recovered from the accident site. �A police officer was also hospitalized after driving into a ditch during the chase.
