The owner of a car dealership in Michigan had a surprise going away gift for those who worked for him over the years.
FOX News Radio's Don Mathisen reports:
Eighty-three-year-old Howard Cooper of Ann Arbor, Michigan recently decided to retire and sell his business. Cooper insisted the new owner keep all his employees, and then Cooper thanked his workers by giving them $1,000 for each year of employment.
Sandy Reagan got $46,000; mechanic Bob Jenkins is taking home $26,000. Cooper is not saying how much he gave away. He got a standing ovation after the money was distributed.
