Democrats will be laying out their reasons why they feel President Obama deserves another term as President at the Democratic National Convention, which opens Tuesday in Charlotte.
FOX News Radio's Rich Johnson reports from Charlotte, North Carolina:
Democrats will be making the case all week that, while things may not be perfect they're a lot better than what President Obama inherited. Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak says that starts with Wall Street.
(Rybak) "I think there's been a huge change in what can happen in the financial industry that frankly part of this collapse. I love the fact that there is a watchdog in the government."
But Republicans are not far from the Democrats' party. VP candidate Paul Ryan is in Greenville today. And party chairman Reince Priebus is right here in Charlotte.
