Airline Employee Arrested For Stealing Child’s Wallet

    An employee of JetBlue airline is arrested for robbing an 11-year-old boy on an airplane.

    FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:

    11-year-old Andre Deshong tells police a JetBlue gate agent at Fort Lauderdale International Airport swiped his wallet two weeks ago before he boarded his New York bound plane to visit his grandmother.

    (Deshong) “$200 and my ID”

    Police in Florida later found surveillance video of the Jet Blue gate agent with the boy’s wallet.

    (Police) “We were able to identify a suspect in this case.”

    33-year-old Marsha Henry now charged with petty theft and suspended by JetBlue. The airline also giving the boy his stolen money back.

    Deshong’s mother says she’s not mad, just disappointed.

    (Mother) “Because people make mistakes. Hopefully she learns from this one.”
