TX Truck Crash Kills at Least 14

    UPDATE: According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, those dead include citizens of Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala.

    At least 14 people are dead after a pickup truck crash in south Texas.

    FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports:

    A crammed pickup truck, 23 people shoved into the cab and bed, including some children.

    Texas Trooper Gerald Bryant says it’s the most people he’s ever seen in a passenger vehicle and when it slammed into a tree overnight, bodies everywhere.

    (Bryant) “The 11 that were killed at the scene, six of them were inside the truck, five were, their bodies were outside where they were thrown out of the vehicle.”

    It happened near Berclair, about 70 miles north of Corpus Christi. No word on the cause or whether the victims are in this country legally.
