FL Cops Fired for Prank [VIDEO]

Two Florida cops are out of their jobs for pulling a prank that left their chief saying they need to be protected from themselves.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig has the story:

Clermont Police Officer Marc Thompson and Sgt. Mark Edwards, fired for leading a fellow officer on a high-speed chase just for the heck of it.

(Dashcam) “Wow, he’s doing over 90.”

Officer Christina Fowler can be heard on her dashcam before the pair stopped, then pretended to run away – finding it all hilarious.

Fowler pulled her gun on the two, not knowing who she was chasing.  Police Chief Steve Graham says he was left with little choice.

(Graham) “I protect my officers, but I also have a job to protect the public from officers when they go off the reservation.”

A third officer in the car was suspended for one day.
