The Social Security Administration released the top 1,000 baby names of 2011 on Monday.
FOX News Radio's Courtney Kealy has details:
While Bella ultimately chose Edward over Jacob in the movie series Twilight, parents are roundly choosing Jacob, not as their favorite celluloid star but as the name of their son.
Jacob hit the number one spot for the 13th year in a row while Sophia edged out Isabella, which dropped to second place after holding the top baby girl's name title for two years running.
Mason leaped 10 spots to number two and for the first time in 63 years, Michael dropped out of the top five to sixth.
Emma, Olivia, Ava and William, Jayden and Noah rounded out the top five.
