Housecall for Health: Spring Allergies Hitting Hard


Allergy season coming a bit early this year. Spring pollen is coming on strong and isn’t showing any signs of letting up.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon has details in today’s “Housecall for Health”:

Spring allergies are hitting much harder this year.

A national survey shows that nearly 23% of Americans have been sick with allergies in April. That’s higher than the 2011 allergy season peak.

Allergists say the rate in March of this year isn’t normally seen until May, suggesting allergy season arrived earlier and stronger than usual, and the worst pollen levels of the year are still to come.
