Soldier, Ex-Soldier Accused of Attempting Murder-For-Hire in Texas
There was an alleged murder for hire in Texas, and two of the suspects have military ties.
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports:
A federal indictment alleges Army Sergeant Samuel Walker and former Lieutenant Kevin Corley thought they were working with a Mexican drug cartel when they agreed to kill members of a rival gang and take back stolen cocaine.
Turns out, the accused were dealing with undercover agents.
Feds say the two were supposed to get $50,000 and drugs in exchange for the killings, which included dismembering a victim.
Walker, who’s stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado and Corley, who was discharged, for unknown reasons just a couple of weeks ago, face firearm, drug and conspiracy charges.

Editors Note: Corley’s cousin was shot to death as the arrests were being made. A Denver man and two others from South Carolina are also facing charges.
