2 Charged After Planning TN Death Row Jailbreak

A plot to break a death row inmate out of jail has been busted in Tennessee.  The planned escapee holds a dubious title in the state.

Christa Gail Pike is a murderer, and knows…

(Pike) “…This is it for me.”

Pike is the only woman on Tennessee’s death row.

(Pike) “I just get so tired of looking at these same four walls.”

Well, two men are accused of plotting to break her out, arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit escape.  One is a former guard at her prison, the other frequently visited Pike, who was just 20 when she was sentenced to die for torturing and killing a 19-year-old woman in 1995.  Pike, saying in a FOX Files report on her…
