Having a poor heart health history may not necessarily mean your sex life is ruined. Experts say that sex is similar to other physical activities, and might not be dangerous if done with caution.

If you’ve had a heart attack, you don’t want to fool around with your health…but is it safe to “fool around?” Heart attack survivors may worry, but there is a safe way to reboot their sex lives.
Top cardiologists say the increase in heart rate and blood pressure from sex is comparable to everyday, routine activities. So if you can carry groceries, you’re probably ready. But be sure to talk with your doctor first – most will recommend waiting four-to-six weeks after a heart attack.
