Housecall for Health: Circumcision May Help Prevent Prostate Cancer
According to new research, boys who undergo a certain medical procedure could cut the risk of developing a type of cancer that can affect men later in life.
FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in today’s Housecall for Health:
A new study shows that circumcision reduces the rate of prostate cancer.
Fewer boys today are getting circumcised than in past decades, and a new study from top U.S. cancer research centers says the procedure lowers the chance of infections and inflammation that may contribute to cancer.
Data shows men who are circumcised before they have sex are 15% less likely to develop prostate cancer that those who are not.
