U.S. Builds $750,000 Soccer Field for Guantanamo Detainees

The detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba are getting a new recreation area.  The price tag: more than a half-million dollars.

FOX Chief Intelligence Correspondent Catherine Herridge saw it first-hand and reports from Guantanamo Bay:

As part of a major renovation at Camp 6, a new soccer field is being built for the detainees at a cost of $750,000.  Once it’s finished in the spring, the detainees will have three recreation centers.  A military rep, who asked not to be identified, said the new soccer field encourages good behavior.  Asked who signed off on the money for the project, the military rep could not say.
