Deadly Ohio School Shooting
A third student in the Chardon High School shooting has died. The teenager under arrest in the shooting spree, T.J. Lane, appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.
Darren Toms, with FOX News Radio affiliate WTAM in Cleveland reports:
It’s news no one wanted to hear, a third student in the Chardon school shootings has died. Demetrius Hewlin passed away this morning.
His family issued a statement saying that Demetrius was a happy young man who loved life, and his family and friends. We are proud that he will be able to help others through organ donation.
Classes will resume at Chardon High School Friday, according to Superintendent Joseph Bergant.
(Bergant) “I want to assure parents, I want to assure our faculty, and most importantly, our students, that you will be safe when re-entering our program.”
Two other students remain hospitalized.
