Wolfgang Puck’s Oscar Party Tips
Want some delicious secrets on how to serve up an award winning Oscar night bash? Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck is in the know and shares his tips with us.
FOX News Radio’s Lilian Woo has the details:
It’s an Oscar night menu fit for the stars:
Puck: “Chocolate Oscars covered with 24 karat gold, baked potato with caviar.”
But Wolfgang Puck, the man behind Oscar’s official after-party says the same ideas apply whether you’ve got 16 guests or 16-hundred, like he does.
Start with great appetizers: seasoned popcorn, small potatoes tossed with olive oil, salt, pepper, then roasted and topped with creme fraiche and caviar.
Puck: “With crudetes all over the place, breadsticks with prosciutto and roasted olives.”
So you don’t miss the show, choose a main dish you make in advance, then bake or just warm up the big night.
Good choices: Lasagna, Chicken Pot Pie, Braised Short Ribs or other meat, then a salad an you’re ready to toast the winners in style, from your livingroom.
