Are Americans financing hostile regimes in the Middle East?

Buried in the budget, are requests to not only keep Egypt's foreign aid over a billion dollars a year, but to use $770 million to encourage reform in in the post Arab Spring regimes -- some of these nations are now openly hostile to U.S. interests. Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides.

On the Senate floor Tuesday, Rand Paul said he is backing on an amendment that will shut off aid to Egypt, adding that the U.S. cannot buy friendship or loyalty through foreign aid.
