Whitney Houston’s Funeral Set For Saturday
It’s where the star was born. Now, Whitney Houston’s body is back in New Jersey, where a funeral’s being planned. Houston’s funeral is set for Saturday in Newark at the church where Houston sang as a child.
FOX News Radio’s Courtney Kealy has the details of Whitney Houston’s funeral:
FOX News has confirmed the funeral will be held on Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey.
Her mother Cissy Houston ran the music program there for years and her cousin Dionne Warwick also sang in the church’s choir.
Houston’s body was transferred from Los Angeles by private jet, arriving at the Whigham Funeral Home this morning.
Mourners have left flowers and balloons and there is a police presence outside as well.
