AEHQ: CPAC in Washington

The race for the White House shifts to Washington D.C. as thousands of conservative activists converge on the nation’s capital.

FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern has the details on the Conservative Political Action Conference:

    From America’s Election Headquarters…

The next test for Republican presidential contenders could be how well they’re recieved at CPAC, an annual gathering of thousands of conservative activists.

Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are all expected to speak tomorrow.

Over the next three days dozens of conservative leaders will take the stage, including former GOP candidate Rick Perry and Sarah Palin.

There’s also a much-watched presidential straw poll. Ron Paul won that last year.
