A man was brought before a judge in Florida to answer to domestic violence charges. The judge's sentence for the man: to take his wife out on a date.
FOX News Radio's Eben Brown has the story:
47-year-old Joseph Bray from Fort Lauderdale got in trouble with police for pushing his wife during an argument. Mrs. Bray was not pleased her husband had forgotten her birthday.
After talking with the feuding couple, and learning Bray's wife wasn't afraid of him, the judge told him to get a birthday card and some flowers...and take his wife out to dinner and bowling. The judge said it was a better resolution than dragging out a criminal proceeding since Bray has no prior record.
