A group of upstate New York teen girls who attend the same school, are showing unexplained signs of Tourette Syndrome. Could social media be contributing to their symptoms?

The group of teen girls in upstate New York suffering from Tourette's like symptoms is still a mystery. But some Doctors say that social media is to blame. David Lichter, a Neurologist from the University of Buffalo thinks that by uploading videos of themselves on Facebook and YouTube, the victim's symptoms are being 'reinforced and magnified'. He believes that by watching the videos, others could be subconsciously copying and spreading what they see.
