Man Pleads Guilty in Murder of FL Girl, Avoids Death Penalty
Jarred Harrell pleaded guilty to the 2009 abduction and murder of a seven-year-old girl. In doing so, Harrell avoids the death penalty.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown has details:
Jarred Harrell admits in court he abducted and murdered seven-year old Somer Thompson from North Florida, then dumped her body in a landfill in Georgia.
By making a plea deal he avoids the death penality and gets life in prison without possibility of parole.
The family took time to make statements. The little girl’s older sister Abigail told him, “You’re not a human being. Your name is not Jarred Harrell. Your name is monster.”
