A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly committing an especially gruesome murder in the Northeast.  The victim's body wasn't discovered for more than a month.

FOX News Radio's Chris Hoenig has more:

The body of Angel Gonzalez was found last week in an abandoned house in Bridgeport, Connecticut. A woman contacted police on Monday, alleging that her cousin, 35-year-old Tyree Smith, showed up at her home last month with blood on his pants and hands, and described beating Gonzalez's head with an axe, collecting one of his eyes, a piece of skull and some brain matter, and eating them in a nearby cemetery.  Bridgeport Police turned to Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Taylor.

(Taylor) "Information was developed by our task force up here in Bridgeport that Mr. Smith as down in the Florida area."

That was forwarded on to Marshals in the Florida panhandle who arrested Smith Tuesday night.
