Celebrate the Chinese New Year with a tradition most people love: feasting.
FOX News Radio's Lilian Woo has details on a Chinese stir fry short cut:
You can ring in the Year of the Dragon with stir fry faster than it takes to order in.
Fire up a wok or any other heavy pan...
(Simonds)"You can never get a pan too hot."
Author Nina Simonds says frozen and pre-cut veggies save time. So does meat, shredded from a rotisserie chicken, a roast or any other cooked meat.
Throw ginger, garlic, and scallions in oil, followed by the other ingredients -- careful not to overcrowd the pan. Chicken broth, white wine, and other flavorings to finish it off.
Kick up the flavor of rice right after it's cooked by adding...
(Simonds)"fresh herbs, basil, dill, toasted nuts."
Five flavor powder or a hint of curry powder are other options.
