Six Years Later: Natalee Holloway Declared Dead
More than six years after the American teen vanished in Aruba, Natalee Holloway is legally declared dead.
FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:
The judge agreed to sign the order at the request of Natalee’s father, Dave Holloway. He wants to stop payments on her medical insurance and give her younger brother money from Natalee’s college fund.
His attorney, Mark White, told the judge there’s simply no evidence that Natalee’s alive…
(White) “It was tough, I guess, is the word I come away from because this child’s parents have been through immeasurable grief and stress and everything else.”
Joran van der Sloot, who had been the suspect in Natalee’s death, has just pleaded guilty to killing a woman in Peru in 2010.
