Marines Face Investigation Over Video

A video that appears to show U.S. Marines relieving themselves on Taliban casualties is currently under investigation, and has earned strong condemnation from Obama administration officials.

FOX News Radio White House Correspondent Mike Majchrowitz reports:

Deplorable and inconsistent with American values and military standards — that’s how Secretary of State Hillary Clinton characterizes the video the purports to show U.S. Marines urinating on Taliban corpses. She said if verified, those responsible must be held to account.

(Clinton) “Anyone found to have participated or known about it, having engaged in such conduct must be held fully accountable.”

As for talks with the Taliban aimed at ending the insurgency, Secretary Clinton said it’s not clear what the outcome of those discussions might be, but she said the U.S. remains committed to those talks.
