CO Couple Seriously Injured When Bomb Explodes in Car
A Colorado couple has been seriously injured, burned by a bomb that exploded in their car. And cops in Lafayette say the package appears to have been targeted at the couple.
FOX News Radio’s Karyn Regal reports:
Police say the package was left beside Allyson and Christopher Stone’s car. Christopher Stone, 59, says the device exploded as his 44-year-old wife was opening it, after they had driven about a block.
Allyson Stone was in the news in 2010. She had been bitten by a dog while working at a vet’s office. The case went to court, and the dog was in danger of being put down. Mrs. Stone got death threats. Police say they don’t think the explosion is linked to that case, but they’re not ruling it out.
