Iowa Caucuses: A Three-Way Race
The caucus process – the first official votes in the 2012 Presidential campaign – is underway. And while the final tally is yet to come, some information is coming from those on their way in to the meetings.
FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom reports from the caucus tabulation center in downtown Des Moines:
Based on early entrance polls conducted by FOX News, we can report that the Iowa caucuses are shaping as expected: into a three-man race with Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum. It does not appear that Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich or Rick Perry will win tonight.
These preliminary projections are based on interviews of Iowans as they showed up various caucuses, but have not actually yet voted.
