John Edwards Requests Trial Delay, Cites Unknown Illness

    Former Presidential candidate John Edwards wants to delay his trial again, citing medical issues this time.

    FOX News Radio’s Lisa Brady reports:

    The defense team for John Edwards says he’s been diagnosed with an undisclosed medical condition that would make it difficult for him to attend.  No official details offered publicly, Edwards’ attorneys filing sealed records with the court.

    The former Senator and Presidential hopeful is charged with six counts stemming from alleged campaign finance violations.  The trial, already delayed once to January 30th to allow the defense more time to prepare and for Edwards to attend his daughter’s wedding.
