Texting Makes it Easier to Lie

A new study suggests people are more likely to lie when texting.

FOX News Radio’s Bill Vitka reports:

It may not be a virtue, but one thing texting makes easier is lying.  People were found more likely to lie while texting according to a study from the University of British Columbia.  They had students role-play as a stock-seller and a stock-buyer.  The seller was told the stock would tank and they were given a financial incentive to sell as much bad stock as possible.  If they could broker the deal while texting, they were most likely to lie, or at least withhold the truth.  They were most likely to be honest when they had to face the buyer.
