Securing America: Fighting Homegrown Terrorism

Federal Authorites are celebrating two big wins in the fight against homegrown terrorism.

Securing America

Two brothers from North Carolina who were part of a family of American-born Islamic converts were sentenced to prison after pleading to being a part of their father, Daniel Boyd’s terror cell.  They were looking to attack the Marine Corps base at Quantico, Virginia and were trying to raise funds for overseas terrorists.  And a Federal Grand Jury convicted a Boston man after prosecutors claimed he was helping to recruit terrorists in the U.S. after being turned down when attempting to train as a Jihadist in Yemen.
