Housecall for Health: Dentist Doctoring

Non-critical medical inquiries may not require a trip to the doctor’s office, since many aren’t going anyway.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon explains in today’s “Housecall for Health”:

Soon, you may be visiting your dentist for more than a cleaning.  A new study published in the American Journal of Public Health shows that 20 million Americans visit the dentist each year, but don’t see a general health provider.  The findings suggest that dental offices could be good places to screen patients with a few questions and quick health test, and possibly identify their risk of chronic health problems.
