Housecall For Health: Keeping Kids Safe During The Holidays
The holidays are a time of gathering and being with friends and family. But, it’s also a time to pay extra attention to small children who could get injured by decorations.
FOX’s Colleen Cappon has more on what to do to protect kids from some household holiday hazards in today’s “Housecall For Health”:
A baby’s first Christmas is a major milestone; but it’s also a time when little ones can get themselves into some major trouble. Pediatricians at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital warn that babies are often drawn to shiny objects, so be sure to keep children away from ornaments small enough to swallow. Wrappings and packages may also pose a choking risk. They also advise parents to never leave a baby alone with a Christmas tree that could topple over, or lighted candles.
