High School Students Suspended For ‘Tebowing’ [VIDEO]

Some Long Island High School students are in hot water with school officials for doing what’s known as ‘Tebowing’ in the halls.

FOX News Radio’s Steve Rappoport has the story:

Connor Carroll and his brother Tyler say they meant no harm when imitating Denver Broncos Quarterback Tim Tebow’s signature pose at their school on New York’s Long Island.

Connor Carroll: “It seemed like a cool thing to do.  He’s (Tebow) a leader in every aspect.”

The brothers and two friends began taking a knee in the halls of Riverhead High School on Monday and resting their foreheads on their fists, a growing fad known as ‘Tebowing’.

Connor Carroll: “I thought it’d be kinda funny.  You know just a joke to us; inside joke.”

But officials weren’t amused when more than 25 students joined the craze Wednesday. Connor and Tyler received a one day in-school suspension for blocking the hallways but are appealing the punishment.
