Could a common staple on your dinner plate be causing you harm?

FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in today’s “Housecall For Health”:

A new study has found that eating rice may expose some people to harmful levels of arsenic. Research from Dartmouth Medical School showed that consuming just one half a cup of cooked rice; the average daily amount for Americans is equivalent to drinking a liter of water with the maximum Federal limit of arsenic. Chronic exposure to low levels of arsenic has been linked to bladder, lung, and skin cancer.
