(Davis) “Anytime you have a loss of life, you know, it’s a tragedy. But when you have five that are lost this quickly and this instantly, it’s horrific.”
Pennsylvania State Trooper Michelle Davis on the deaths of five New Oxford High School students yesterday, killed in an accident about two miles from their school. State Police say just before 3 Monday afternoon, the vehicle they were riding in swerved in front of a pickup truck towing an empty livestock trailer. Investigators say speed, drugs nor alcohol do not appear to have played a factor in the crash.
