Iran: We Shot Down U.S. Drone

Iran’s military claims it show down a U.S. spy plane.

FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern has details from Washington:

State-owned media in Iran cites an armed forces source claiming an unmanned U.S. drone was shot down in Iranian airspace near the border with Afghanistan.  That report saying the drone has just minimum damage and was seized by authorities.

A U.S. official says there’s no indication so far a drone was shot down.  The NATO-led force in Afghanistan says claims could stem from an unarmed surveillance drone lost while flying over western Afghanistan last week.
