Real Life Rocky? Flying Squirrel Invades NJ E.R.

An unexpected visitor put on a high-flying air show Tuesday night.  The venue: a New Jersey hospital.

FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom reports:

Folks in a hospital emergency room in Rahway, New Jersey must have thought they were watching the old cartoon show, “The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle.”

“Hurry Bullwinkle, the show’s about to start!”

There, flying around from a tall lamp to a glass wall – and back again – was a flying squirrel, just like Rocky.

    “Wave to the people!”

Apparently Rocky, or whatever his name was, had built a nest in the hospital.  A couple of intrepid firefighters threw a blanket over the squirrel and released him into the woods outside.  Not clear if Rocky will be back for next week’s show.
