Shots Fired at White House, 21-Year-Old in Custody

A 21-year-old is in custody after shots were fired at the White House, hitting the residence level of the Presidential mansion.

FOX News Radio’s Chris Hoenig reports:

The Secret Service says ballistic glass stopped a bullet fired at an exterior window.  The discovery follows gunfire heard near the White House Friday night.  After that incident, police recovered a car and an AK-47.

The suspect, 21-year-old Oscar Ortega Hernandez, was taken into custody in Pennsylvania.  Park Police say Hernandez has no known connection to radical groups, but does have a criminal record in three states.
