Almost a year after the shooting which nearly killed her, Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is telling her story.
FOX News Radio's Lilian Woo reports:
Gabrielle Giffords promising to return to Congress in a new book due out November 15th. According to the Associated Press "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope" details her struggle after being shot in the head. But it also describes lighter moments such as a visit from former President George HW Bush in which Giffords kept replying to him with the only word she was able to say at the time; chicken. The memoir, written by husband, former Astronaut Mark Kelly with Giffords delivering the last chapter, also reveals she lost 50% of her vision because of her injuries.
