It was a nightmare of a journey for passengers on board JetBlue Flight 504 bound for Newark International Airport from Fort Lauderdale. The plane got diverted during this weekend's East Coast snowstorm to Bradley International Airport and sat on the runway for over seven hours until passengers were able to disembark.
FOX News Radio's Courtney Kealy reports:
The Pilot pleading for assistance:
"We can't seem to get any help from our own company. I apologize for this but is there any way you can get a tug and a tow bar out here to us and get us towed somewhere to a gate or something."
Passengers said they were given little or no food or water, as the JetBlue plane sat on the tarmac for over 7 hours.
"Seven, eight it doesn't make a difference at that point really. And the bathrooms did stop working, we did run out of water. At the end it got pretty stinky and nasty."
A JetBlue Spokesman apologized for the quote "experience."
