Housecall for Health: Heart Healthy Drinks
There may be yet another reason to feel less guilty about having that occasional drink, and more confident that you are improving your heart.
FOX’s Colleen Cappon has today’s “Housecall for Health”:
According to a new study, the benefits of alcohol may be greater than doctors thought.
Ten years of research from Harvard shows that women who drank alcohol in the year leading up to a heart attack lived longer than women who never drank. The frequency ranged from a few alcoholic drinks a month to more than three a week, and it didn’t matter what type of alcohol it was. But experts say moderation is best, and one drink a day is a good target.
