If you take daily vitamins or supplements, one study claims you may be wasting your money. Researchers from one NYU based study say that without a specific nutrient deficiency or chronic illness, there isn’t enough evidence to prove that taking vitamins makes people healthier.� But many experts, including those from the council on responsible nutrition, say more studies are needed to determine the specific health benefits of supplements.
