Housecall for Health: Bachelor Health
A study out of Norway means a call out to all men out there: Go out and find that special someone!
FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom explains in today’s “Housecall for Health”:
Guys, if you like it – living, that is – you may want to put a ring on it. A new study from Norway finds bachelors have a higher risk of dying from cancer.
The study says death rates for unmarried men almost doubled, regardless of their age, site of tumor or stage of cancer. It is thought married men have a higher chance of survival because they are usually in better health at the time of diagnosis, and wives will make sure they stick with treatments and appointments.
