Underwear Bomber Pleads Guilty

He has changed his plea.  Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab now says he’s guilty of trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner with explosives hidden in his underwear on Christmas Day 2009.  Abdulmutallab says he tried to do it in retaliation for the killing of Muslims worldwide, and he called his underwear bomb a “blessed weapon to save the lives of innocent Muslims.”  He also warned of more attacks on the U.S.

FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper has more on the change in plea from Detroit:

Editor’s note: Abdulmutallab is expected to get life in prison when he is sentenced in January.
