Securing America: Airport Security Changes
Frequent flyers take note. There are some security changes coming to a handful of airports that could make your flight a little bit easier to catch.
FOX’s Jonathan Serrie has more in this Securing America report from Atlanta:
A handful of frequent flyers can now pass through airport security without taking off their shoes or removing computers, liquids and gels from their carry-on bags. It’s part of a trial program the Transportation Security Administration is testing in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, and Miami. Passengers who opt-in to provide the TSA with additional information for pre-screening may be directed to an expedited line at the airport. TSA Officials say the program will allow their agents to focus on unknown or higher risk passengers.
