OVERTURNED: Amanda Knox Cleared of Murder [VIDEO]
Amanda Knox, the American convicted of killing her British roommate while studying abroad in Italy, has been cleared by an Italian appeals court. At issue for the panel, was the evidence satisfactory? Was it handled right? Or was the conviction the result of a prosecutor who abused his power?

Knox has spent the last four years behind bars in an Italian jail. A conviction for criminal slander was upheld on appeal. She was sentenced to three years – already served – in jail and ordered to pay criminal damages. The slander charges came from her accusations against her former boss and local police.
