Rebels are rallying across Libya. They are cheering in Benghazi as the rebellion takes over Tripoli.

FOX News Radio's Alastair Wanklyn has more from London:

On Tuesday, Libyan rebels stormed the compound of Muammar Qaddafi in Tripoli. But the man who ruled Libya with an iron fist for more than 40 years was nowhere to be found.

So where is Qaddafi?

FOX's Dominic Di-Natale - reporting from the Libyan-Tunisian border - had this to say:

Regime loyalists are dismissing reports that Qaddafi fled to Algeria over the weekend.

The rebel fighters have captured nearly all of Tripoli, and there are celebrations in Green Square.

But Fox's Steve Harrigan cautions that the scene is disorderly and there is no organized military or police force:

Meanwhile, Journalists trapped in the Rixos hotel by Qaddafi loyalists have been set free.  FOX Producer Tadek Markowski was one of the Journalists held captive.
