FOX on Tech: Fake Cell Phone Calls
Cell phones these days have countless uses. They’re full of hand-held games. They can be a GPS unit. Don’t forget about checking your Facebook or Twitter. And, for more than 1-in-10 people, they’re a handy aid in NOT talking to people.
FOX News Radio’s Ron Flatter has the results of a new study on fake cell phone calls in this “FOX on Tech”…
It’s part of a new report on how we use our cell phones…
More than half of us have used them to get information right away. Two out of five have used them in an emergency. About the same number using cell phones as a release from boredom…
And, according to the Pew-Research study, 13% of us use them to pretend to be in the middle of a call to avoid an unwanted conversation.
Just remember to turn off the ringer.
