Debt Showdown: Boehner Quits Debt talks with the White House

    Friday Evening, House Speaker John Boehner announced he would no longer deal with the White House on debt negotiations.  Instead, he would deal directly with Senate leadership.

    Despite this action, President Obama warned that the country is running out of time to hammer out a deal and summoned Congressional leadership to the White House Saturday morning to continue talks.

    Shortly after the President's remarks Friday evening, House Speaker John Boehner held his own media availability where he likened dealing with the White House to dealing with a "bowl of jello" and accused the administration of "moving the goal post"
