If bed-sharing works for your family, there’s no need to worry about the intellectual or social development of your child.
According to a new study, bed-sharing is not common here in the U.S., and is not recommended when a child is less than one due to the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. But, if you decide this is right for your family, don’t feel guilty about it – researchers said, in terms of psychological impact, bed-sharing doesn’t appear to be dangerous.
